Since 1990, Dr. Jill Hagen has specialized in the medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. In addition to treating the full complement of conditions that cause patients to seek care from a podiatrist, she treats sports injuries and fractures, provides diabetic foot care, and fits orthotics.

Dr. Hagen attended Queens College of the City University of New York, where she majored in Psychology and communications. She then received a Bachelor of Science from St. Johns University College of Pharmacy . She then worked as a Pharmacist and also worked at Lenox Hill Hospital Pharmacy making intravenous medications and dispensing hospital drugs to inpatients. Today, she uses her knowledge of pharmaceuticals to compound many foot-related products for her patients.

In the mid-1980s, she decided to pursue her first love – Podiatric Medicine —and received her degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, St. Marys Hospital in Hoboken and St. Francis Hospital in Jersey City. She started her private practice at The Dermatology Center in Englewood in 1990. Dr. Hagen is Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. She is a Diplomate of The American Academy of Pain Management. She is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.

No matter the reason a patient seeks her care, Dr. Hagen treats the entire patient rather than he foot problem alone. She knows that many diseases or conditions can impact foot health and by taking a patient’s entire medical history into account, she can prevent many serious foot issues from occurring.

She examines patients at her office at the Dermatology Center in Englewood , and performs outpatient procedures at a Surgical Center, or an outpatient local hospital.

Dr. Alicia J. Kim, a dedicated and multi-faceted healthcare professional, has carved a distinguished career path through diverse roles in medicine and education. Born and raised with a passion for both science and the arts, she has seamlessly integrated these interests into her professional life.

Dr. Kim's academic journey began at the University of California, Riverside, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a focus on Bioinformatics and Genomics. She then pursued further studies at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL, where she completed both a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Management. This rigorous training equipped her with a robust foundation in both clinical and administrative aspects of healthcare.

Dr. Kim’s professional career in podiatry began in earnest at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City, where she undertook a rigorous residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Demonstrating exceptional leadership and clinical skills, she served as Chief Resident on her final year of residency, honing her expertise and shaping her future practice.

Dr. Kim’s professional endeavors extend beyond podiatry. Prior to her medical career, she owned Cow Hollow Shoe Repair in San Francisco,  showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and connection to the field of foot care. Additionally, her artistic side flourished as an independent performer in musical theaters  in  Seoul, Korea.

Fluent in both English and Korean, Dr. Kim's diverse background and skills have allowed her to bridge cultures and disciplines, enriching her practice and contributing to her success in various roles. Her unique blend of clinical expertise, leadership experience, and cross-cultural competence continues to drive her commitment to excellence in healthcare and beyond.
