Dr. Jill Hagen

Since 1990, Dr. Jill Hagen has specialized in the medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. In addition to treating the full complement of conditions that cause patients to seek care from a podiatrist, she treats sports injuries and fractures, provides diabetic foot care, and fits orthotics.

Dr. Hagen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Queens College of the City University of New York, where she majored in Psychology and Communications. She then received a Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Johns University College of Pharmacy. She worked as a Pharmacist in retail and hospital settings for several years. Today, she uses her pharmaceutical background to formulate drug products related to podiatry.

In the mid-1980s, she decided to pursue her first love –Podiatric Medicine—and received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She served her residency at Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn, NY, St. Marys Hospital, Hoboken, NJ, and St. Francis Hospital, Jersey City, NJ.  After residency, she started her private practice at The Dermatology Center in Englewood. She joined Dr. Herbert Feinberg, Dermatologist, and Dr. David Abramson, Plastic Surgeon.  Dr. Hagen is board certified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management. She is also a  member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.

No matter the reason a patient seeks her counsel, Dr. Hagen is the leading authority on foot and ankle problems. She treats the entire patient rather than the foot problem alone. She knows that many diseases or conditions can impact foot health and by taking a patient’s entire medical history into account, she can prevent many serious foot issues from occurring.

She examines patients at her office at the Dermatology Center in Englewood, NJ, and performs outpatient surgical procedures at an Outpatient Surgical Center or at Hackensack Hospital.


Dr. Lauren Grossman, DPM

Dr. Lauren Grossman is Board Qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. She received her Bachelor of Arts from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, which is known to be the forefront of podiatric medicine for over 100 years.

Dr. Grossman completed her Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Park Slope, Brooklyn. She is surgically trained to perform foot and ankle surgery. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Grossman has received numerous outstanding achievement awards which include embryology, bacteriology, osteology, molecular biology, physiology, biochemistry, infectious disease, and genetics.

Dr. Lauren Grossman treats fractures, sprains, infections, sports-related injuries, bunions, hammertoes, corns, etc., and is extremely thorough and patient. She gives every effort to relieve discomfort even on your first visit.

Born and raised in Norwood, New Jersey, Dr. Grossman has been a treating Podiatrist in The NYC  Avon Walk for Breast Cancer since inception. She takes care of the participating walkers along their 40-mile journey and provides foot care along the way.

Monica, Dr. Grossman, Dorene

 


Dorene Molinaro, Office Manager
Dorene has worked with Dr. Hagen and Dr. Grossman since August 2020. Prior to working for Podiatry Associates, Dorene spent 30 years working for Dr. Schuster, a podiatrist in Parsippany, NJ. who retired during Covid 19. She is well versed in all aspects of healthcare and podiatry. Dorene manages financial tasks as well insurance claims and pre-certifications for patients. She has been an asset to our office and is able to multitask during her days at work.

 

Monica Graveran, Medical Assistant
Monica has worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Hagen /Grossman for two years. Prior to that, Monica worked for another podiatrist for 15 years. Monica speaks both English and Spanish. She is a graduate of ORI Medical Technology Institute in Union City, NJ. Prior to coming to the United States in 2002, Monica practiced Dentistry in Paraquay. Monica will tell you that Dr. Hageénand Grossman has developed a practice where podiatry is more” than just treating ailing feet. It is about patient relationships, healing, and smiles. Monica has grown to appreciate the field of podiatry and its merits. She demonstrates strong organizational skills. A big thanks ‘to Dr. Hagen and Dr. Grossman who are not only great doctors and skilled surgeons, but women who show great compassion and honesty and put their patients at ease. Monica is a great asset to our organization.

 

Sapphire Fisher, Certified Medical Assistant
Sapphire is a medical assistant for Dr. Hagen and Dr Grossman. She graduated from Monroe College with a Medical Assistant degree. Sapphire has adjusted well to her new job during the Covid 19 pandemic. Every day is a challenge dealing with all the rules and regulations that must be adhered to in order to ensure the safety of our patients. Sapphire is a positive addition to our organization. She s a great assistant and has a nice disposition and is reliable and dependable .
